At Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central, there was an Earth Day festival last week with vendors and some entertainment. These kids performed on Thursday evening.

Last week, there was a bit of a protest - rather a “pro-taste” in front of 4Food in Midtown. The flash mob carried signs that showed the GOOD things the healthy, organic, retooled fast food place does for their employees and the community. This was all part of a campaign to raise awareness for Shop Your Values Week, which runs from May 3rd to the 10th. When I walked by and took this shot, a few cops came onto the scene, thinking it was a real protest.
