the beauty of nature on the highline. on Flickr.
Going to any photo walk, I’ve noticed that so many people travel with tons of gear. Almost everyone has an SLR with a couple of lenses, some trek along tripods, and some bring a couple of different cameras - film and digital. I was pretty much the only one who traveled light. All I brought was my iPhone and my ultracompact Canon S95, which looks like a typical point and shoot, but it has full manual, can shoot in RAW, has a nice wide aperture, and can go pretty wide - it really packs a punch & is much easier on my back than when I bring my XSi out.
Anyway, those images can’t be worked on for quite a while since my computer died last week & it will be a couple of weeks before I have enough cash to get a new machine. The good thing is I had my iPhone & took lots of shots with Hipstamatic (which was a huge topic of discussion and debate - more on that later) which were uploaded right away.
First signs of spring on the High Line.
Taken with Hipstamatic.
