vendor at the highline. on Flickr.I’ve been to the High Line quite a few times since it first opened in 2009, and it’s never a bore. There are always people relaxing, walking, exploring, taking their cameras out, and just enjoying the unique vantage point from the old elevated tracks.
Being on the photo walk with Flickr this past Saturday was great - I met up with a couple of other photographer friends and ventured over. Chatting with the rep from Flickr was great, and finding out about all the exciting changes in store (not to mention getting a little swag and the beer garden gathering afterwards) made it completely worth it.

About

Avatar My name is Bonnie Natko. I'm a native New Yorker (born in Brooklyn, raised in & to this day resident of Queens) & photographer who simply loves the city and the people who interact with it on a daily basis. Since this is not the original blog I set up my Tumblr account with, you'll be followed back by bondidwhat which is my "virtual scrapbook" blog. Feel free to follow that too if you'd like!
