the empire state building. on Flickr. The entrance to the Empire State Building is so incredibly grand, and once inside, the lobby has a height of three stories. It was once the tallest building in the world, until the World Trade Center’s North Tower was built, but after the Trade Center was destroyed, the Empire State became the tallest in the city once again. This will change when One World Trade Center is complete. It was the first building with over 100 floors and is considered to be one of the wonders of the modern world.
I once worked in this building on a freelance assignment. Going into this place, if even for just a week was pretty stunning.

About

Avatar My name is Bonnie Natko. I'm a native New Yorker (born in Brooklyn, raised in & to this day resident of Queens) & photographer who simply loves the city and the people who interact with it on a daily basis. Since this is not the original blog I set up my Tumblr account with, you'll be followed back by bondidwhat which is my "virtual scrapbook" blog. Feel free to follow that too if you'd like!
